We are delighted to welcome you as a valued partner of the 2026 AFIA Conference, taking place on Tuesday, 20 October at The Lands by Capella Sydney.
The AFIA Conference brings together leaders, decision-makers and innovators from across Australia’s non-bank financial services sector to explore the issues, opportunities and forces shaping the future of the industry.
As a conference partner, your support plays an important role in bringing this community together and contributing to the conversations, connections and ideas that will help shape what comes next.

For your convenience, we have outlined the key partner information and need-to-knows below.
The space
Venue: The Lands by Capella
Address: 2 Gresham Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia
Located within Sydney’s historic Sandstone Precinct, The Lands by Capella sits at the nexus of George, Macquarie, and Bridge Street, just moments from Circular Quay with access available on Gresham Street. Directly opposite, Capella Sydney serves as a recognisable landmark within the precinct.
All conference sessions will take place in Capella Ballroom 2+3. The exhibition area is located in Capella Ballroom 1, where attendees will move for all networking and meal breaks.
Exhibition area, booths and staff attendance/registration
Standard booth dimensions: 2m x 2m (L x W)
Exhibitors can request a trestle table and two chairs for their booth (please let us know if you require this).
There will be one single power source per booth and wireless internet is available onsite.
Please review the below floor plan for your allocated booth.
We encourage our partners to develop entertaining and interactive displays or do something creative and engaging with their booth to attract delegates e.g a sweet station, card raffle, LinkedIn photo booth, simulation game, wine tasting competition etc. However, please be mindful not to disturb other exhibitors.
Exhibition booths can be manned by 2 x company reps (max). Exhibition staff do not receive complimentary access to the conference sessions, however, we do offer our sponsors a 25% discount off the member registration cost for up to 2 x registrations. Delegate list
The opt-in delegate list including first name, last name, organisation and position title, will be supplied to all conference partners on the following dates:
First release: 30 September
Second release: 15 October
The list provided will exclude names that have not provided their consent.
Terms and Conditions | Sponsors & Exhibitors
Acceptance of terms & conditions
By submitting a sponsorship and/or exhibition booking you are accepting these terms and conditions.
Payment
Payment is required within 14-days of AFIA issuing your tax invoice.
Sponsorship and exhibition entitlements, including the allocation of exhibition space, do not commence until payment has been received.
Cancellation of your sponsorship &/or exhibition booking
Once a sponsorship and exhibition application has been accepted all payments are non-refundable. If you are no longer able to attend the conference please contact AFIA to discuss your participation.
Cancellation or postponement of the conference
In the event that the 2026 AFIA Conference does not proceed on 20 October 2026, AFIA must refund any and all monies paid by the member as per this Agreement.
Disclaimer and charges
Every effort has been made to present all the information accurately, however no liability is accepted for any inaccuracy and the Organisers reserve the right to change any published information.
AFIA reserve the right to amend or update sponsorship and exhibition packages and the exhibition floor plan.
Disputes
In the event of a dispute arising, that the parties themselves cannot resolve, the parties agree to refer the matter to an independent arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement.
The member may immediately terminate this Agreement in the event that AFIA becomes insolvent (as that term is the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) or AFIA is in breach of this Agreement and fails to remedy such breach within 7 days of receiving a breach notice from the member.
Exhibition floor plan
The exhibition floor plan is subject to change without notice. The floor plan is not to an exact scale, but accurately represents the position and sizes of exhibition spaces at physical conferences.
Allocation of exhibition space
AFIA will allocate exhibition spaces after taking into account each organisation’s sponsorship, the date of application, preferences, proximity to competitors and any other matters deemed relevant.
Insurance
All sponsors and exhibitors must have adequate insurance for the period of the conference, including public and products liability cover and professional indemnity insurance.
Indemnity
Your organisation shall indemnify and hold harmless for any loss, damage to property or injury to persons suffered as a result of your participation in the conference, except where the Organisers are found to be negligent.
Supply of goods and services
The supply of any goods, services, samples or advice is entirely at your organisation’s own risk.
Security
Valuable items should NOT be left unattended at your exhibition space at any time and especially not overnight. No responsibility is accepted for any loss or damage to equipment and display materials.
Representatives
Anyone from your organisation attending the conference or guests you wish to invite to the conference must register with AFIA before the conference. An official name badge will be required to access the conference and exhibition areas.
Custom booths
All custom stands must fit within the purchased exhibition space. Custom stands must not exceed 2 metres high. If you have any questions please email elle.buckley@afia.asn.au a floor plan and elevations of your proposed stand.
Signage at the venue
Your signage should be free standing to allow for easy placement and should be contained with your exhibition space.
Damage to the venue
Your organisation shall indemnify AFIA from all liability for damage to the venue deemed to have been caused by your staff, contractors, agents or guests. The cost of repairs will be the sole responsibility of your organisation.
