Brighte updates on Electrify 2515
AFIA associate member Brighte has provided an update of their Electrify 2515 Community Pilot, an initiative to electrify 500 homes in the Illawarra region. Brighte has reached initial milestones, with applications now being processed for a further 50 homes.
Over 400 applications have been received, and 10 homes have successfully installed Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS), providing valuable insights into household energy use. Thirteen local vendors have been trained and accredited to perform electrification installs for another 50 homes.
The Brighte platform has been upgraded with new features to enhance product selection, streamline vendor connections, and manage customer leads. Backed by $5.4M in federal funding from ARENA, and supported by Rewiring Australia and Endeavour Energy, the Electrify 2515 Community Pilot showcases the power of collaboration in driving Australia’s clean energy transition.
