Membership enquiry

AFIA membership is corporate-based membership. Individuals are not eligible to join the Association as a member.

AFIA’s members range from ASX-listed public companies and small businesses providing finance, through to professional service providers to the industry.

We represent providers of consumer, commercial and wholesale finance in Australia which includes:

• major, regional and mutual/community owned banks

• providers of consumer finance, including home loans, personal loans, consumer leases, credit cards, buy now pay later services, and debt purchasers

• providers of land finance, including residential and commercial mortgages and bridging finance

• equipment financers, including commercial equipment financing ranging from agriequipment to small ticket equipment financing

• motor vehicle financiers, including consumer motor finance, novated motor finance, small business motor finance and heavy vehicle finance, fleet leasing and car rental providers

• providers of commercial finance, including secured and unsecured loans and working capital finance to businesses, including small businesses

• fintechs.

We offer two categories of membership:

• Full Membership: organisations engaged in the business of finance and the provision of credit facilities for every kind of commercial enterprise and/or personal use.

• Associate Membership: organisations that provide services to Full Members and other entities engaged in the business of finance and the provision of credit. They support our industry through a range of products and services including legal advice, technology solutions, credit assessment and asset remarketing.

Members are able to nominate unlimited company representatives, who are eligible to receive the same membership benefits as the primary contact.
