Open to all AFIA members, the 2026 Affie Awards celebrate the individuals and organisations making a meaningful contribution to Australia’s financial services industry. From outstanding leadership and innovation to initiatives delivering positive outcomes for customers and businesses, the Affies recognise those helping to shape the future of finance in Australia.
Presented alongside the 2026 AFIA Conference, this year’s Gala Dinner will be held on Monday, 19 October at The Lands by Capella — a distinctive event destination combining heritage charm with contemporary elegance in the heart of Sydney.
Guests will enjoy a two-course dinner while connecting with industry peers and celebrating the achievements, ideas and people making a lasting impact across AFIA’s membership.
Who can attend?
A seat at the Affie Awards & Gala Dinner is included in the AFIA Conference registration. Friends, family and colleagues of our finalists are also warmly invited to attend by purchasing a separate ticket for $440.00.
Award Categories
Entering the awards is an opportunity to showcase achievements, amplify programs and initiatives, connect into a finance community and get recognised for making an impact.

You can enter your organisation in each of the three awards available.
You can enter as many individuals from your organisation as you wish in the Impactful Leadership Award or Hall of Fame Award.
You are able to self-nominate in the Leadership Award or nominate someone else.
Entries for the Hall of Fame cannot be self-nominated, entrants must be nominated by someone else.

This award is for an individual who has demonstrated improved customer outcomes and/or people outcomes, which could include delivery of an app, website, call centre, marketing campaign, culture program, talent retention program or diversity and inclusion program.

This award is for an individual who has transformed or furthered the finance industry in some way through their outstanding personal contributions.

This award recognises an organisation that has delivered an outstanding program, initiative or technology-led solution that supports customers experiencing vulnerability, financial hardship or barriers to financial inclusion.
Entrants should describe how their organisation has used AI innovation to improve customer outcomes, strengthen access to support, enhance financial literacy or inclusion, and positively contribute to broader community wellbeing. This may include hardship identification and assistance, proactive customer support, inclusive product, website or service design, financial capability programs, community partnerships, or responsible use of AI to better understand and respond to customer needs.
