Join AFIA for a key session with Tim Grimwade, the independent Chair of the Finance Industry Code Compliance Committee (CCC), during the transition period to commencement of the AFIA Code of Practice on 1 October 2026.

 Tim will share his perspective on how the Code supports stronger business practices, improved governance, and better outcomes for customers. He will also reflect on the CCC’s oversight role, the importance of transparency and accountability, and what members should be considering now as they prepare for accreditation.

With nearly 30 years of experience in consumer and competition law, policy, regulation and compliance, Tim brings deep insight into industry standards and public sector leadership. Prior to joining the CCC, he held senior executive roles at the ACCC, leading divisions responsible for consumer protection, small business, product safety, and legal and economic strategy, before retiring from the regulator in 2024.
