Alastair MacGibbon

A member of the founding team at PE-backed CyberCX, Australia and New Zealand's largest cyber security company which was acquired by Accenture, Alastair MacGibbon has shaped the nation's approach to cyber security and safety at the highest levels of government and the private sector for over 20 years.

He has served as the Special Adviser to the Prime Minister on Cyber Security, National Cyber Security Adviser, head of the Australian Cyber Security Centre, and was Australia's inaugural eSafety Commissioner. A former Federal Agent with the AFP, he established the Australian High Tech Crime Centre.

He often leads the national debate on cyber security and technology risk, and regularly briefs boards, senior public servants, and politicians in Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
