AFIA is delighted to invite members to attend a one-day, in-person workshop hosted by the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) in partnership with the IFRS Foundation, designed to support organisations in applying the new AASB S2 Climate-related Disclosures requirements.

This practical session will introduce the core concepts underpinning Australia’s climate reporting regime, including how to identify climate-related risks and opportunities, and how to determine what information is considered material.

Designed for preparers in the early stages of their climate reporting journey, the workshop will help build foundational knowledge and confidence to support compliance with AASB S2.
