Draft Consumer Data Right Rules for Non Bank Lending

On 6 October AFIA made a submission on the draft amendments to the Competition and Consumer (Consumer Data Right) Rules 2020.

AFIA supported the expansion of the Consumer Data Right regime to the non-bank lending sector, but raised concerns around the timeframe, provider thresholds, and the consideration on non-banks as homogenous with the banking sector.
